Bachtiar Djalil, President of the Management Board

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Law, he studied for a Master of Laws in European Law at the University of Groningen.

He took up a position in the field of capital investments management at NLB in 1999. After completing his Master’s degree, he was employed at the Slovenian Competition Protection Office, and served for a time as its representative on the European Commission’s Merger Task Force. In July 2002 he moved to the NLB’s Capital Assets Management and Control Department, where, among other things, he helped set up NLB Skladi, d.o.o. In January 2004 he took up the position of head of the NLB Skladi legal office.

From July 2007 until his arrival at Kapitalska družba, d.d., he was a member of the NLB Skladi, d.o.o. Management Board. He was a member of the expert groups tasked with drafting and amending regulations in the areas of takeovers, prevention of the restriction of competition, investment funds and management companies. He was a member of the Management Board and Chairman of the Arbitration Council of the Association of Investment Fund Management Companies (GIZ).

Bachtiar Djalil is a vice-president of the supervisory boards of Modra zavarovalnica, d. d. He has also been a member of the Gorenje, d. d. Supervisory Board and headed its Audit Committee and a vice-president of the supervisory board of Loterija Slovenije, d. d.

Gregor Bajraktarević, Member of the Management Board

In 1999, after graduating from the University of Ljubljana’s School of Economics and Business, he was employed as an analyst at the Enterprise Finance Department at NLB, d.d. He left that position in the same year to continue his studies, subsequently obtaining an MSc in Bank Management.

He was employed as a broker at NLB, d.d. between 2001 and 2003 and as an adviser to the director and managing director of the Investment Banking Department at NLB, d.d. between 2003 and 2006. He took over the management of that department in 2007, staying on until March 2013, when he became director of the Non-Strategic Equity Investments Department. He became a member of the Kapitalska družba, d.d. Management Board on 6 February 2017.

Gregor Bajraktarević has been a member of the Adriatic Fund investment board, the investors’ board of Adria Airways, and the Council of Members of Ljubljana Stock Exchange. He has also been a member of the supervisory boards of GA, d.d., Thermana, d.d. and Helios, d.d., and president of the supervisory boards of NLB Leasing, d.o.o., Ljubljana, NLB Leasing d.o.o.e.l. Skopje (in liquidation), LHB AG, PRO-REM d.o.o., Ljubljana (in liquidation) in HIT d. d.
